Preparation

  1. Go to the AFP website or click on the link: https://afpnationalpolicechecks.converga.com.au/


  2. Please read the instructions clearly and click on start New Online Application


  3. Check the Proof of Identity option from the Primary & Secondary Documents; please choose the

    documents that will make 100 points. Note: You must provide at least one document from the Primary

    Document Section.


  4. Once you select the documents to be provided for the AFP application, click on next and fill up the Applicant details.


  5. In Section 2.3, Purpose of Check, select the following option:

  6. Once done, click on next, and Applicant Consent will appear. Check the information properly and tick

    the box, then click Next


  7. Then upload the documents that you have selected as proof of Identity. A clear scanned copy of the

    documents must be uploaded.


  8. Review the applicant details, provide the requested information, and click next.


  9. In the Residential History section, please provide your current address and postal address(if different

    from your residential address). Residential history for the last 10 years may need to be provided. Once

    done, click on the next, and the payment option will appear.


  10. Once payment is finalised, you will see the reference number, note it down or take a picture of the

    reference number. You will receive a confirmation email from AFP along with a payment receipt.


  11. The AFP report will be sent by Mail to the address provided within the application within 5-10 business

    days. The AFP might send you an email if they need any further information.
